1. Establishing contact with international organizations and professionals in the EC field helped me a to learn about the state of the early childhood field in many countries in the world, it increased my global knowledge about the challenges of education in the world and all the issues affecting children in the world like poverty, war, and malnutrition.
2. Subscribing to many international organizations is a great thing too, because it will help me stay connected and up to date on what is going on in the world and on latest research and news related to children.
3. Working with contacts in other countries made me feel that we all are working toward the same goal which is the well being of young children.
I think that it is wonderful that you were able to communicate outside the U.S. It's great when educators from around the world can come together and share ideas on how to make a difference in the lives of children. Great job!

ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed learning about early education from an international perspective. Gaining an understanding of what is important in other countries and what their solutions are will gives me hope for all children.
