A Favorite Book

GREEN EGGS and HAM
"Green Eggs and Ham" is one of my favorite books. It is one of Dr Seuss's most enjoyable and amusing books, with a clear message to unadventurous children and adults alike.
The story is about someone who denies eating something for no other reason than they just don't like what it looks like. It's a good lesson for kids to learn that even though something may not seem appealing it can be great.

There are just 50 different words in the entire book, of which many are either sight words or rhyming pairs. The fact that there is a lot of repetition in the story helps out the beginning reader and make this book a pleasure to read.
I would recommend this book to anyone, for helping with word pronunciation and just fun overall.

  1. I too love Green Eggs and Ham but I love for the rhyming that happens.
