Personally I have never been a subject in a research study, but I like to always read and stay updated on all the progress in the field of molecular biology, genetics, and pathology which present extraordinary research opportunities for the better understanding of diseases, and for subsequent prevention and treatment. Much of this progress would have been impossible without access to human biological specimens and associated patient data. Research is a need for all human beings, because it helps us to explore and investigate the unknown.

It is easy to take for granted all the technology that makes our life easier and safer. Think about the way they used to deliver babies and c-sections. That has changed so much over the years. Your post reminds us how research has changed many areas of our lives definetly for the better.
ReplyDeleteBouthaina,
ReplyDeleteYou are right that we would not have the advances that we do today with out research on humans. I believe that the people who participate in those studies are working for the greater good!
